Bekina Steplite X boots explained

Our whole Bekina selection is the Steplite X, in a few colours and two safety levels.

Bekina Steplite X X290 (CSA)

The CSA safety version, sold as a winter and rain boot in blue, white and green. These are our best-selling Bekina boots. Check the CSA label on the product page to confirm it matches your site's requirements.

Bekina Steplite X StormGrip

A navy and orange CSA safety boot, item XS90BO, in the Steplite X family. The name points to a different outsole from the X290, so compare the sole details on the product page.

Bekina Steplite X X210

The non-safety green version, item X210GB, sold as a winter and rain boot. Choose this one if you don't need a CSA toe.

How to choose your Bekina boots

  1. Decide if you need CSA. The X290 and the StormGrip are CSA safety boots. The X210 is not. If your workplace requires a safety toe, don't pick the X210.
  2. Know what PU does. Bekina says its polyurethane boots have a solid waterproof outer layer and an inner layer of small air bubbles that insulates and keeps the boot light. It also says they last three times longer than ordinary rubber or PVC boots.
  3. Think about the weather. These are sold as winter and rain boots. Bekina's European S5 Steplite X Thermoprotec is listed down to −40°C by a distributor, but check the rating on each product page here, since it can differ by version.
  4. Check the fit. Sizes are unisex, so look at the size notes on the product page. If you're between sizes or wear thick socks, size up. Our 30-day free returns make a swap easy.

Bekina boots: frequently asked questions

Where can I buy Bekina boots in Canada?

WOOKI, a Canadian shop based in Gatineau, Québec, sells Bekina boots online. We carry 5 Bekina styles from $159.99 CAD, all Steplite X. Shipping is free across Canada (except Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut) and the USA, with 30-day free returns.

Does WOOKI sell Bekina Thermolite boots?

Not right now. Our Bekina range is the Steplite X, sold as winter and rain boots, in a few colours and in CSA and non-CSA versions. Stock changes, so check the grid above. If you're after a specific Bekina model, email us at info@wooki.com and we'll tell you what we can do.

Are Bekina Steplite X StormGrip boots CSA approved?

The StormGrip XS90BO, in navy and orange, is listed as a CSA safety boot in its title. The title doesn't give the toe type, so check the product page for that and for the exact label before you buy it for work.

Are Bekina Steplite X boots CSA approved?

Some are and some aren't. The X290 and StormGrip XS90BO listings are CSA safety boots, and the X210 isn't. Confirm the label on the product page for the exact pair you want, especially for work. If the page doesn't show a CSA mark, treat it as a non-safety boot.

Are Bekina boots waterproof?

Yes, by design. Bekina makes its boots from polyurethane, and says the solid outer layer is impenetrable and so waterproof. Our listings call them winter and rain boots. The boot height and any damage to the shaft still affect how much water gets in.

Are Bekina boots good for winter?

They're sold as winter and rain boots, thanks to the insulating inner PU layer. For the exact temperature rating, check the product page, as ratings differ by version. We don't want to promise a number that doesn't apply to your pair.

Do Bekina boots run true to size?

Sizes are unisex, and each product page has a size chart. If you're between sizes or plan to wear thick winter socks, size up. Returns are free for 30 days in Canada and the USA, so swapping sizes costs you nothing.

Does WOOKI sell authentic Bekina boots?

We do. WOOKI is a Canadian shop based in Gatineau, Québec, and we buy Bekina boots from the brands and authorized distributors, so everything is 100% authentic. Shipping is free across Canada (except Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut) and the USA. Returns are free for 30 days.
