By far our best-selling Keds. The Scout is a lace-up canvas boot, and the Rifle Paper Co. prints are what most people buy. Rifle Paper's own listings describe it as water and stain resistant, with a splash-coated canvas upper and a lugged rubber sole. Resistant is not waterproof, so keep it for light rain.

Not all of them. Keds has sold some styles as vegan, but many of our pairs use leather, suede or calf hair, and those are not vegan. Canvas and organic cotton pairs are the likelier choice. The materials are listed on each product page, so check before you buy.
They're water resistant, not waterproof. Rifle Paper Co. describes the Scout as stain and water resistant, with a splash-coated canvas upper. That works for light rain and puddle splashes. For heavy rain or slush, choose a rain boot or a waterproof winter boot.
Keds makes boots such as the Camp, listed as water resistant winter boots, and the Tally with a faux shearling look. We also carry Scout and Tahoe boots. Water resistant is not waterproof, so for deep snow and slush pick a dedicated winter boot.
It depends on the style, so open the size chart on each product page. If you're between sizes, or you're buying a boot and plan to wear thick socks, size up. Returns are free for 30 days in Canada and the USA, so a swap costs you nothing.
